ZEXIRA is a compact system that can be installed in a small space. Nevertheless, it supports a wide variety of radiographic and fluoroscopic studies over extensive longitudinal and lateral ranges. When it is combined with a digital image processing system, virtually all parts of the body can be imaged. In addition, since ZEXIRA is designed for maximum flexibility and efficiency, it is attractive to hospital administrators as a very cost-effective system. Although it is economical, ZEXIRA is provided with an FPD, ensuring excellent image quality.

Innovative tabletop technologies for patient-friendly design with enhanced usability

  • Canon Medical Systems’ unique rounded tabletop makes it easier to reposition the patient during GI studies, while minimizing discomfort during longer procedures such as ERCP.
  • The tabletop features a clean design that is free of grooves or changes in level. This means that it is much easier to clean the tabletop, minimizing the risk of infection.
  • The left and right sides of the tabletop frame have been made thinner, the available area for fluoroscopy in the lateral direction is 63 cm. As a result, the full width of the tabletop can be used, making it easier to perform examinations such as contrast studies to assess hemodialysis access in the brachial artery and myelography, in which the patient may be positioned far from the center of the table.
  • In ZEXIRA, priority has been given to patient-friendliness. The table can be lowered to 48 cm above the floor in the horizontal position, making it easier to examine patients who are unable to walk without assistance. It is also much easier to transfer patients from a stretcher onto the table, improving safety and reducing the workload on medical staff.

WINSCOPE Plessart provides
true digital solutions.

The advanced full-digital system WINSCOPE Plessart acquires high-resolution images with outstanding diagnostic accuracy and fully supports filmless operation.

1. Full-digital system

This system allows X-ray fluoroscopic/radiographic image acquisition, digital handling of image processing and display, transfer and search of images, and film printing, enabling optimization of the workflow in order to achieve a high throughput. It is also provided with a large-capacity X-ray tube, enabling its use in mass screening.

2. Image processor designed for ease of use and high image quality

A variety of user presets and automatic functions are provided, minimizing DR operations during examination and increasing efficiency of use. Higher quality images can be obtained by employing 12-bit image processing when saving the images, applying the digital compensation filter (DCF; with new algorithm), and using the auto-windowing function.

3. Robust data storage

A disk mirroring system is used for the hard disk to prevent loss of data. As a further safeguard, a large-capacity, cost-effective REV disk is used as the backup media.

4. Large imaging range enabling examination of any part of the body

The large imaging range of approximately 130 cm (spot stroke 98.5 cm + I.I. field of view) makes it generally unnecessary to change the patient position and permits a variety of examinations to be performed.

5. High-quality images free of motion bluming

The high-frequency inverter-type X-ray high voltage generator(80kw) produces a stable X-ray output with low ripple. When a large-capacity X-ray tube is used in combination, a short exposure time can be used, enabling high-quality images free of motion blurring to be acquired. Note that the system can be operated by remote or local control.

6. Simple and efficient operation

The remote control console and the local control console (optional) can be used for a range of operations, including tilting of the R/F table, movement of the tabletop, movement of the imaging system, adjusting the beam limiting device, patient compression, and radiography. In addition, processed images can be displayed on the remote control console after digital image processing.

TFD-2020A

In today’s radiographic environment, with increasing demands placed on declining resources, Improving performance and productivity is a necessity. That’s why we have designed a new FPD that delivers more power and provides more standard features than any other FPD in its class.

Mobile X-ray unit are moved around hospitals all the time to perform radiography on patients who cannot easily get to an X-ray room. What makes a system environment-friendly and easy-to-use? To address these issues, Canon Medical Systems has kept the basics in mind, while advancing the development, high-performance systems. Now, Canon Medical Systems has the answer in the IME-100L.

Wheel-guided motion
Large wheels and wheel-guided motion allow operators to overcome floor gradients with less manual force.

Wheel step
This step is easy to tread on, and has sufficient clearance above the floor. The safety design eliminates the risk of a foot being caught between the step and the floor, even in the wheel-guided setting.

Bumper
A bumper the same width as the cart is provided at the front of the equipment, to alleviate the shock caused by possible collisions.

Corner guide
This allows you to confirm the position of the bumpers while the equipment is in motion, and helps in navigating narrow spaces.

Deadman-type brake
A deadman-type brake is employed. If the handle is released, the brake will be applied automatically. A slight handle movement causes deceleration while in motion.

Brake elimination
You can choose a brake-free condition. Thus, you can easily position the equipment while moving the main assembly.

Pantograph-type arm

A well-balanced, lock-free arm is employed. It eliminates time-consuming arm lock procedures for positioning, ensuring more speedy positioning.

Handgrips
These allow you to swivel and rotate the X-ray tube with less manual force.

Vertical rotation of X-ray tube
The X-ray tube can be rotated vertically by ±90º, and easily positioned for lateral-view radiography.

Swiveling of the X-ray tube
The X-ray tube assembly can be swiveled forward by -15º through +90º. Handgrip manipulation maintains the orientation of the X-ray port irrespective of the height of the arm.

Large wheels
Large 40-cm diameter wheels are employed. These are combined with free-castor-type front wheels to ensure quietness and ease of movement.
